Hephystus Forged in the heavens by the Gods of Metal themselves, Hephystus has revolutionized a new twist on the Progressive/Rock/Metal genre. Hephystus has created and capitalized on a sound they can identify solely as their own. With odd time signatures, face melting solos, an infectious rhythm section, and vocals that could tame the wildest of beasts, Hephystus promises you an experience to remember. A Light Divided A Light Divided is a regional female fronted tour-de-force of genre binding pop-metal. Since forming in August 2007 they have played more than 200 shows across 10 states and shared the stage with countless national acts (August Burns Red, In This Moment, ect) and was selected as a winner in the 2009 Ernie Ball Battle of the Bands to play Warped Tour. 2010 saw the release of their second album, the EP "For The Sake Of Change" and their first forays into touring including a 3 week east coast support tour at album launch, and a second 10 date October support tour. With 2010 in the rearview; 2011 promises to be a huge year for the band with plans to write, record, and release a new album, tour farther and harder than before, and farther cement themselves as a band you need to know about. Six Foot Orchard Six Foot Orchard (SFO) stands for the beauty of death and the breath of life a concept made by 5 North Carolina local musicians and the driving sound that this band creates proves it. Exposing listeners to a heavier sense of passion, anger, and misanthropy time and time again SFO creates a new breed of heavy music. From the battle ready percussion and technical guitar work to the aggressive vocals and lyrics this band is deep rooted and will not give any mercy till all is bled dry. Attracting The Fall ATF- SET THE WORLD ABLAZE (new self release coming out mid mayish) is a 6 track weve worked hard on to show just the kind of idea we got going on with this music, be sure to pick it up its literally going to change your opinion about metal in general. If your already a metalhead youll appreciate the influence, if your not youll be surprised you pushed off the idea as long as you have. were here to move you, to change your mind, but most inmportantly Set the world ablaze!!! We make music to try and grip many peoples attention, great flow, motivating lyrics, and killer rythmn. were here to show you that not everything metal is awkward kids trying to sweep, its a genre filled with strength and music and were here to bring that out Acrasia Forged in the darkest depths of Cary, North Carolina, Acrasia was formed in 2009 by lead guitarist Zach Dresher and then drummer, Dylan Thompson after the break-up of their previous band: Nocturnal Hour. Soon after, Michael Rumple (vocalist), Devin Janus (lead guitar) and Nathan Kairis (bass) were recruited, and the band began planning its global conquest. Dylan was unfortunately forced to leave due to educational obligations, and was replaced by Alex-Finn Dennis. Acrasia's unique musical style is characterized by frequently crossing between technical complexity, melodic wankery and death metal brutality; all over increasingly wild time signatures and burning tempos. Proving that progressive death metal is truly alive and well, Acrasia thunders through the Raleigh music scene like a bio-mechanically enhanced rhino, leaving in its wake a frostbitten wasteland of melted faces and shattered skulls.
