A Call For Submission / Press

“The rush A Call For Submission brings in the the dominant drums, bangin’ bass, and heavy guitar riffs can only be described as epic instrumentation. The brilliant usage of reverb, snare, double kick and electric riffs in “My Weakness (Your Downfall),” along with haunting lyrics, “So you can fall like I want you to,” reaches the core of their depth and bite. Soon after “Ballad of Juan” brings the storm with a strong guitar lead in that breaks down into fierce double kicks and chanting harmonies to create the perfect mosh song.”

“This album is a far cry from the band that originally started playing covers in bars with the occasional original song here and there. They have transformed themselves into a well oiled heavy rock force ready to take the country by storm.”

“I don't usually comment or evaluate other performers/bands material other than my own. However this a disc that breaks that tradition for me. For me this disc is an explosion of great high energy tunes that shows great skills in writing, arrangements, musicianship production and delivered with such passion. It's an assault of the senses that smacks ya in the mouth if you were gonna buy one hard rock this year (local or not)- sink your teeth into this aggression, It;s nasty in the best of ways! Best wishes for a great year of rock!”

Wayne Sponagle- Seasoned Musician and Fan - A Call For Submission- "Our Silence"

“Got to admit that your dedication to your band is pretty damn amazing. I dont see nearly as many bands putting as much effort in getting there name out there.”

William Hawbolt - From a local music fan and loyal follower

"I am so happy to see that people are now seeing what I knew all along about these guys. Talented, the real deal rock band and so humble."

Dennis Field - From our Studio engineer/producer

"Managed to catch A CALL FOR SUBMISSION on my way home last night and have to say that they kicked some serious ass. The harmonized guitar solos were a real treat especially as a Maiden fan. The thing I noticed the most was the true passion displayed by each of the guys. The energy and enthusiasm coupled with obvious talent make for a kick ass show with awesome tunes".

Rowan Ayers - From new fan:

"Heck yeah, if anyone gets a chance give these guys a listen! They have an interesting, but heavy sound. I definitely hear a Metallica influence with a tinge of Avenged-- most prominent in the the guitar harmonies."

Patient 0 - From another band:

“Been friends with and a fan of these guys for years now. They just keep sounding better every year. Keeping the scene in the area back home alive and kicking. Their show is at the top of my to do list when I get a chance to go home and visit.”

Mathew Pynch - From a long time Fan:

“Had to check out "Rise Or Fall",.. it's outstanding!..Those lyrics, vocals and instrumental accompaniment sounds excellent, we hear ya!”

Pete- Honest Mistake Band, USA - Rise or Fall- Title Track to debut EP

Feaver's Bar Show

“There's lots of talented bands out there and lots of great original music. It's easy to say how good a band could be if they practiced more or if they took the time and money it takes to record a professional CD, but there's a big difference between saying it and doing it. You guys have the talent, the drive and you're making the sacrifices necessary to put yourself out there in front of people as much as possible. Your CD turned out awesome, your stage show is killer and I love your tunes. Thanks for making AMBUSH Inc. a part of your Hometown CD Release Party. Keep doing what you're doing and I hope you reach your goals.”

“With a wonderful modern metal sound that is distinctly reminiscent of Avenged Sevenfold this band does not fail to have a true grit backing up its music. Even within the cool vocal harmonies and epic guitar parts there is still an inner Paul D'Ianno like grit which gives the music a lot of flavor.”
