Whiskey Child / Press

“I really like the drums in this song "Couldn't Care Less". The guitarist is really good too! This vocalist is very expressive. The lyrics are really well thoughtout and emotional. I find myself singing along with this song without even realizing it. I would listen to this at a party! The melody is really nice too. This is the kind of music that belongs in anyones playlist!”

“Whiskey Child is an Alternative Rock, Blues, Soul, style singer/songwriter and what a great one at that, vocally outstanding with lyrics to match. We love the heavy rock riffs with that southern soul feel that just hypnotizes you into feeling good. A big must have for any record collection!”

“The song starts out with what I thought would be a good Neutral Milk Hotel Ripoff, but it morphs into a very good pop-punk song. The harmonica and aucostic gives this song a surprising edge that many other pop-punk songs can lose. Great and unique track.”

“The guitar at the beginning of the song is well-played, and the introduction of further instruments adds more interest to the track. The lyrics are relevant to youths today, and the vocalist sounds very relevant to today's crowd. The chorus is very catchy, and the overall melody of the song is good. There are quite a few harmonies, which work well. The song definitely has commercial potential, as it is well-created and up to date.”

“Very brisk and lively start which opens up the track well. Instant rosy and optimistic vocal makes it pop out as a lively and intuitive track. Some frisky guitars and a blend of old school style music make this extremely likeable!”

“The waves crashing at the beginning open to some summery guitars and a great drum beat. The lyrics are great and humourous. I love the sound of the vocals also. The weird addition of the harmonica had a unique twist. The chorus is very catchy and almost had me singing along, I also think that the ending is very creative with the repitition and striking guitar strums. Overall I like the tone of the song, which sounds like a mixture of American-Summer-Rock and Rock-Pop which is laid back and a great summer tune. Also sounds like a less-heavy sum 41 track!”
