West Coast Blues Club are proud to announce that the WA BLUES ALIVE IN THE PARK FESTIVAL is BACK for 2012!!! Now in its 9th year the festival is proudly sponsored by Lotterywest, City of Rockingham, The Sound Telegraph, allFinance and Bendigo Bank. This active community event has got something for everyone. Music lovers can relax on the grass under the shade of the trees and enjoy Darren Guthrie & Swagga’s Cardiac Arrest Sticky Sweet Hullablues Sliders Home Brew ( South West Blues Club) house band Kids will enjoy the free activities provided such as arts and crafts, a visit by Radical Reptiles where they check out all things scaly, they can meet AUSSIE, the WCFC Eagle and check out the koalas, dingos and reptiles with Westoz Wildlife. The festival has again introduced a special component inviting special needs acknowledging the state special Olympic swimming medalists and disability services. Children’s rides, fairy floss, snow cones and sweet and sour liquorice will keep the children smiling all day long. Heaps of stalls will have their goods on offer or you can sample the many different tastes from around the world from one of the many food outlets. The festival will be bursting with enthusiasm as it welcomes the many local community groups in the Peel Area. Come and sign up in one of the many cultural community activities there is to offer on the day and support your local neighbourhood . The Mandurah Ocean Club will be holding a state regatta, inviting all WA outriggers to enjoy Rockingham’s coastline.
