Chase Enriquez / Press

“Versatile is the best word to describe this artist. “Light It Up” by Chase Enriquez is one of the most powerful tracks that we have had the pleasure of posting on our blog and social media. Not only can Chase spit some dope bars, he can SING HIS HEART OUT. This guy is a multitalented artist who has been making strides in the industry way before we came across him. Although Chase is hailing from California, he is certainty finding a sound that can be universally heard and loved. We were really intrigued when we stumbled upon this young, ambitious artist. The versatility he posseses is pretty much unlike anything we have seen in the existence of HashtagHipHop. Just the way he approaches every song, you can hear the emotion in his voice and hear the hunger behind each line. The music video for this track really gives you a better feeling and understand of what Chase was trying to portray with his lyricism.”

“The Los Angeles based singer/songwriter has been around the country and developed his own personal style combining the energy of rock music with the phrasing and lyricism of classic hip hop. Chase has hooked up with INgrooves/Fontana for full digital distribution of his latest track “Mars”. The song opens with an ominous feel and dark chords until Chase’s vocals hit bringing the song to an anthemic level. He then breaks down with some rapping flows that draw the listener in paying attention to what he has to say. The pretty chorus with its piano fills and building vocal cadence set the tone for an epic song. Chase Enriquez has done it again making something that is deeper and more professional than most of the pop crap that fills the mainstream radio today. “It always seems to be a great help to a musician’s career to get around and experience other parts of the country and the different music scenes they present. Limiting yourself to one scene can severely hold back your true creativity and the influences needed to push that creativity. Take a piece of everything you hear and mold it into your own personal sound. A good example is our latest find Chase Enriquez. The singer songwriter now based in Los Angeles blends the lyricism of classic Hip Hop with the raw energy of Rock music’s yesteryear. Chase claims such diverse influences as Jay-Z, Guns N’ Roses, Nas, and Led Zeppelin. As his career was gaining momentum he perused the local scenes of San Diego, Chicago, and Atlanta collaborating with others and taking the best parts of each to brand his own genre. Chase Enriquez even had a stint as front man for a heavy metal band. There is no pigeonholing this man. ...”

“Inspired by Jay-Z, Guns’n’Roses and Led Zeppelin, Los Angeles based alternative rap artist, Chase Enriquez rocks out a denim vest and long, dark locks like no other I’ve seen before, self proclaiming his love to booze, boobs, and music as if they’re all meant to go together. Infusing sounds of rock and hip hop, coupled with his passionate, raw vocal ability and lyrics drenched in inspirit, his ten track April album release Til The Flame Burns Out will most certainly be joining my music collection. As the kind of album where you find yourself set on the best of the bunch, until the next song starts playing and you find yourself torn between which song will be your newest fav, Til The Flame Burns Out is one you find yourself less focused on what genre it fits into, and more concerned with enjoying the music simply as it is...”

“Chase Enriquez is a mixture of epic rock and roll singer, soulful rapper, and pop balladeer. His new album Til The Flame Burns Out represents the natural evolution of a man who has been working on his craft for a long time... Til The Flame Burns Out is an atmospheric, pop-infused epic wall of sound led by Chase’s vocals as he bounces back and forth from R&B crooner to rapper all the way to arena rock ballad singer. The opening “Night On Fire” will have you raising your fist in the air pumping to the beat. Moving on down the tracklist to “Her Song”, we get to see a different side of Moving on down the tracklist to “Her Song”, we get to see a different side of Chase as he bears his soul over a somberly piano track guaranteed to make your nerves tingle. Til The Flame Burns Out is a fresh approach to the previous attempts at genre crossing. Chase has blended various styles that, despite their differences on the base level, each represent who Chase Enriquez truly is... ”

“If you are seeking alternative hip/hop and rap music, Chase Enriquez should be at the top of your search list. Fortunately, one need not struggle to find the high points of this album. Every song seems to awaken the spirit with vibrant riffs, hooks, and licks...This is rap and hip hop with attitude, but nothing that is too showy or overdone. It's nice to have some musical accompaniment with the vocals. Chase Enriquez is a talented performer and composer that should not be missed if you like urban, rap, and hip hop music. ~”

“So the title caught my attention “Til the Flame Burns Out”. The graphics for the cover are hot too. I found myself listening to the album. I almost felt like I was listening to a movie soundtrack. You can find everything from Pop,Rock to Hip-Hop on the album. The album consist of 11 tracks. If your into the whole Gothic themes you will love it. My favorite tracks are “The Majestic”, “Tell Me Why”,and”Her Song”. The album is worth listening too and good for an underground artist. As an artist there is always room for improvement. He has great potential and with the right deal he can reach it. As a lyricist his deliverance can be a little bit better. As a vocalist he delivers that rock rawness. He is worthy of the Raskal Life! I give it a 7.5 out of 10 Raskals!”

“every artist that I saw perform was near FLAWLESS...Some of the artists that stood out for me, and I did not really know much of them, are: Sha Stimuli RA the MC El Prez (I'm still singing "gone, beating my chest like King Kong!") Curse ..." ”

“Sole Munki is doing it big lately. They have a sneaker boutique, clothing line, skate team, and their artist Curse aka Chase just shot his video for “Sol Munki Rag“.”

"With a wide array of musical stylings and taste, the Sol Munki brother has gone in over beats made popular by the likes of Coldplay and Amy Winehouse just to switch things up."
