What are you doing the night of Friday, April 25th? Well I'll tell you what you should be doing (on April 25th of 2014, anyway): Attending this motherfucking book signing show at the Art House! I, Michael Gustav Bowser, will be selling and signing copies of my New York Times Worstselling novella, Like Castro Did! If you don't already know, the book is about a handful of young weirdos from Pittsburgh talking about space and existentialism, with a couple boner jokes thrown in here and there. And not only that! There's going to be all kinds of performers. At 9 PM, Charmaine Evonne will open the show playing musical sounds while the book signing part happens. When the clock strikes 10, the more verbal portion of the show will start. We've got comedians (Scott Patton, Zach Funk, Erick Williams), a daggone poet (Travis Wade), and Ian Insect will be there, doing whatever the heck he does. And once that part's over, Life(Liss) will close out the show. I, Michael Gustav Bowser, will be hosting. I'll probably end up doing some reading and stand-up as well. So come one and all to what can only be seen as an unusual, but probably fun evening! There's no cover charge. Signed paperback copies of Like Castro Did will be on sale for $15. (Who knows? Maybe one day my autograph will be worth $20!)
