“St. Louis, MO (Top40 Charts/ Nytro official website) Lifelong friends Rod Weygant and Mark Williams started recording songs when they were 12 and 10 years old, respectively. In 1977 they used a tape recorder, boxes and trash can lids for drums and one guitar and amp. Before they even knew how to tune a guitar they started recording their own songs. Similar to a real life Tenacious D, they are two middle age guys who love music and have been friends since 1976. "We never practiced our songs. We wrote them, recorded them and then moved on" said Williams. Now after almost forty years the friends, along with drummer Dennis Gage, recorded a CD at Firebrand Studios in St. Loui”
