Your eyes settle on a lone figure on the stage, crouched low on a stool, wrapping his guitar in a possessive embrace. Fingers flash across the fret board, touching and tickling, until the strings begin to cry and scream under his skillful attack. These masterful hands belong to Zwhenji Tots, classically trained but with the dark soul of rock and roll. ZT has prepared six original compositions, including one to be performed with an accompanying series of moving images, created by the artist to enhance his eerie soundscape. Also, expect to hear a sampling of exotic South American and fast-paced Baroque selections. Whiskey, beer, wine, and a few small bites will be made available at the open bar. 4/1/2012 (Sun) Door opens at 4pm @ The Monkey NYC Recommended donation $10. Ever made your mother cry? Ever want to? Then be sure to arrive early to experience the spirit-crushing clash of Tommy G's mind raping lyrics and cotton candy guitar riffs. Mom will never look at you the same again.
