The Global Hip Hop Collective (GHC) is back for another showcase. This time round the GHC is launching the first in a series of Mixtapes due for release over 2011. Featuring a lineup of dope underground Melbourne hip hop artists, including ZuluFlow & Big Words (both with live band) as well as the world class dubstep/classical duo Dysphemic and Miss Eliza. As with all GHC shows there's something a bit Different, with Katie Houghton-Ward will be Live Painting while VJ A-Day will be on visuals. as it's Friday the 13th - It's a "Freaky Friday" theme for the night, so get your masks, make up, costumes out and get your freak on. Prizes for the best most freaky dressed.. This coming Sunday 19th December at the Evelyn Hotel home of live music, "Alley Katz entertainment in association with Tetris Studios presents up and coming lyrical romancer Zulu Flow launching his debut solo release. This enigmatic performer has only just begun to unfold his rich, versatile artistry on the Melbourne music scene. The launch beginning at 7pm and will display the support of the most excellent and world renowned skills of other Tetris Studios crew and other world class Melbourne talent including the Opium Den, Vida-Sunshyne, Cyclones, 16 & Mz Rizk, Lesson MC & Billy Hoyle, Able & Manix. With a Nasty Mash Up Sound Clash between 3 of the best Melbourne Hip Hop, DnB, DubStep producers Dysphemic, DJ Wasabi & Kurk Kokane. Also featuring live Capoeria performances. The evening will be a celebration of the bringing together of a musical community displaying the tapestry that is the current underground music styles.
