“There was drama on stage at the Mavado show at the Harare International Conference Centre (HICC) in Harare when self-proclaimed Ninja President Winky D went past his allocated 30 minutes of performance time only to have Sniper Storm storm onto the stage and grab the microphone from him.
^ Winky D & Ninja Lipsy performing their hit song Taitirana paFirst Sight at the Mavado show.
Sniper Storm, who was billed to perform after Winky D, was angry that the latter was ‘being selfish’ and eating into his performance time. Winky D left the stage but the fans wanted him back and missiles rained on the stage as Sniper Storm tried to do his set.
It was only after Mavado came onto the stage that the crowd, numbering about 4000, calmed down.”
