Bio

Zaminy's music often draws comparisons to a mellow Ani DiFranco or a spunky Sarah McLachlan, but truthfully, her influences are much more classic. If Van Morrison was a woman, or if Carole King played guitar, we might be closer to an accurate description of Zaminy's soul-tinged, acoustic, rock-and-roll sound.
.............
"Spunky, sweet, and soulful. Zaminy Hibbard is self-reflective without being self-absorbed, agressive without the anger, and naturally sweet without the processed sugar aftertaste ... On her debut, Zaminy blends her soothing guitar and honest lyrics to create an album you'll listen to over and over again." -- Katrina Baker, co-founder and former host of the Eve Out Loud radio show on WICB-FM (Ithaca, NY)
