Y.A real name is Ernest Monroe, is a self made young man born and raised on the Westside of Las Vegas, NV. Cared for by his Grandmother until he was 15 years of age. Y.A is ready "to go head to head with the best'' says the young poet who has a CD and mix tape on the streets that has sold over 10,005 copies from hand to hand and from some mom and pop stores that supported local hip hop/ poetry.
