More About The Artist
WYATT...this is rock country!
If you kick together the sounds of southern rock with a country blend then mix them with rhythm and blues, you'll travel the boarders of ROCK COUNTRY.
WYATT was formed in 2004 when the combined writing styles of Daniel Fortier and Scott Patrick merged to craft the official sound of WYATT. Echoed rock, country and blues melodies are delivered with the grit vocals of Patrick intertwined with Fortier's clear, soulful range.
The WYATT kick comes from the finesse spiked hard-rock background of dynamic Aussie drummer Bray Hudson. His thunder combines with the electric blue energy of rockabilly bassist Cam Ewart bringing a high-voltage energy to the stage.
In 2007 WYATT released they're début original-mix Independent album “Hard Road”. Chalked full of infectious, fresh tunes including "This Town", "I Don't Mind", “Like We Belong” and the title track "Hard Road". Your senses collide as these songs capture moments of universal themes: loving, losing, and living.
After their album release WYATT began turning heads with performances during JUNOFEST and Canadian Country Music Week. Landing a management deal with Kathalene Stearns, manager for Willie Mack, the boys were launched into national notoriety. WYATT made their first Nashville trip in November of 2007 where they worked along side some of industries finest including a meeting with Ole Publishing and writing with Tim Taylor and Willie Mack in development for their first industry released album that is already creating waves of anticipation.
Although WYATT may be breaking new ground in the industry fans have already gripped onto their raw energy that leaves you wanting more. “The past year has been amazing, working with some of our biggest influences it's unbelievable. But through it all it's really been the unreal support from our fans. It really lets us know that we are doing something right.” Lead signer, Scott Patrick.
2008 has been a whirlwind year for the boys and it's only just begun. Bringing in the New Year with Aaron Pritchett then sharing the stage with Jason Aldean. Having Emerson Drive and John Rich (Big & Rich) show up to watch their show and jam on stage with them in Regina. Their album release may just be the icing on the cake.
So if the past is any indication of what's to come, Rock Country will be an outstanding experience you won't be able to resist.
