Worried Minds truly began when singer/songwriter Martin Maudal met Daniel Mullikin one very wet winter day at the Folk Music center in Claremont Ca in 2004. "We just jammed for a couple minutes and before I even knew that Dan plays every damned stringed instrument I ever heard of and some I hadn't, I knew we had something special going" says Martin. Dan has just finished up his degree from University of Redlands and Martin had moved back to Claremont from New York city to further a theory of his. "I felt that if i wanted to do something that was actually original, I had to get away from major media centers like New York or LA."
