BIOGRAPHY

In the year 2000, Jason Shimkoski aimlessly walked the halls of Brooke Point High School in Stafford, VA going from classroom to classroom looking for a new desk to call his home. It was during a morning study hall that he heard word from a friend that a punk rock band from the area, Violence Under Pressure, needed a bass player. Jason let him know that he played and was immediately sworn into the band.

VUP used Victor Mazzanti's basement as a practice space. His band, KamaraCloud, had recently disbanded and he was nice enough to let VUP use his equipment.

Jason and Victor immediately hit it off and decided to reform KamaraCloud with a new lineup, Victor on vocals and guitar, Jason on bass and a mutual friend, Danny Tahali, on drums.

This was the lineup for 6 months until Victor and Jason decided it would be best to part ways with Danny after hearing the hard-hitting antics of Matthew Wade. Without a moments notice, Matt joined the band and thus the classic lineup of KamaraCloud was created.

After years of max capacity shows and great press, the members decided to change their name to match their more evolved, aggressive and hard-hitting sound. After little debate, the boys agreed upon With Haste.

The classic band with a new name decided to add two new players to the mix as well. Nick Matako was added on rhythm guitar and Bobby Coppock was dubbed the new vocalist.

With Haste quickly began to headline shows and built upon their already dedicated fan base. They opened for many well established acts including Dillinger Escape Plan, Hopesfall, and Scary Kids Scaring Kids and further expanded their touring region. This quick incline and local success began to drain on the members however. Drugs were introduced, hearts were broken, and friendships were cracked. For the health of the band, they decided to go on a short hiatus.

A year and a half later, Victor and Jason picked up the pieces and got back to basics. They both decided to share guitar and vocal duties and added two new members, Derek Ames on drums and Matt Charles on bass. They independently wrote, recorded and released "Bring the Thunder". This ten song EP is available on iTunes, Rhapsody, Amazon, and many other online distribution websites.

With Haste began to tour again as well, venturing away from the East Coast for the first time. To date, they have performed from Maryland to Florida, from Virginia to Nebraska.

It has been an exciting and chaotic eight years but With Haste's drive and determination has kept them on a constant journey of musical exploration. With their new found freedom of mind, music and peace, With Haste has a long road ahead that they anxiously wait to share with you.

With Haste is currently touring and recording their first LP.
