Bio
California singer-songwriter William Cleere, seeing nobody else at the helm of the piano-rock yacht, has donned the captain's hat and assumes the madman's mantle on his first single, "Labor Day" (released Tuesday on Mystery Lawn Music). Steering the craft into the territory of the aforementioned pioneers, we also hear echoes of Warren Zevon's playful ivory syncopations. Cleere draws on these influences and succeeds at painting an evocative picture of pre-autumnal reluctance and end-of-relation...

In the old days with guys like Oakley and Rodman, Blake Griffin dunking 5 times in a game would've cost him 5 weeks on the injured list.
