Widget was formed in 2008 out of the ashes of "The Moksha Das Band". Partners Michael Sutton and Moksha Das have combined their strong songwriting ability and locally-famous vocal flare to form a dark folk duo in the tradition of the Indigo Girls and Simon and Garfunkel. Often compared to a young Bruce Springsteen or Bob Dylan, they have been actively recording in Sutton's home "Cold Cellar Studios" and playing open mic gigs for the last 2 years. Due to be completed in early 2010, the duo's first indie CD "Resting Place" is sure to be a smash among the growing indie folk crowd in Northern Ontario and beyond.
