Yogi Guyadin aka Why G? is an interesting person to say the least. He got his start as a music fan that progressed into engineering, recording, and mixing music for others. After several music jobs such as Sam Ash and experience in Studios such as Jimmi Hendrix's Electric Lady he realized he had to become Artist he was looking for. Why-G? dove headfirst into his music career. "I learn as a go along. I didn't know how to format songs so I just jumped on stage and rhymed". After watching others and studying the great musicians of all genre's. He learned how to structure a song. Since he new how to record, he recorded himself and Released "The Beginning of the End" his fist mix CD. Under the careful ears and eyes of Dj Emmo and The Optimus Foundation Why has been steadily improving his craft expanding into Production and Music composition. "I'm studying music theory now and I'm teaching myself instruments." I've been around greats for a reason such as Professor KB (a Keys and Organ Player who worked with emcee's such as Mikey D and LL Cool J) and I been around Africa Bambatta since I was 16 as a member of the Zulu Nation.

Why-G? strives to be a World Renowned Musician and Songwriter who will stop at nothing to achieve his goals. He also mentors kids in the South Bronx with Urban Art Beat (www.urbanartbeat.org) and is a founder and Mentor of the Optimus Academy which runs a Self Expression program in The Ravenswood Housing Project Community center (www.myspace.com/optimusfoundation).
