The Colorado release party for the new album, Roots & Groove! Described as "High-Octane Rocky Mountain DanceGrass", Whitewater Ramble (WWR) uses a simple recipe to craft it's sound: start with bluegrass instrumentation, add drums, and finish with a boundary-less approach to grassing-up everything. The Colorado-bred quintet combines the elements of mandolin, fiddle, acoustic guitar, upright bass, drums and vocals to explore the boundaries of multiple genres and to fuel their own mixture of original music. Whether playing an intimate encore, acoustic and unplugged in the crowd, or surfing on top of the upright bass, Whitewater Ramble delivers a powerful and memorable live performance. The band is celebrating the 2013 release of their new full length record, Roots & Groove, which features Tim Carbone at the helm as producer. Don't miss what is sure to be a great night of music! The Caravan of Thieves are a unique blend of talents and tastes. Driving gypsy jazz rhythms, acoustic guitars, upright bass and violin lay the foundation for mesmerizing vocal harmonies and fantastic stories. It's theatrical and humorous. It's musical and intense.
