"In the Straight-ahead reggae track "Sweetest Weed" White Abbot argues for legalization. Marijuana is considered a holy herb used by Rastas to intensify meditation." the Palm Beach reggae-roots artist says. Abbot has pleasant memories of the April day that inspired the song. He says that he and Jamaican Reggae act Silver Ice had taken a break from recording in the studio on the island and were walking through an open-air market when they encountered a Rasta selling fresh collie herb from the mountains. "The Rastaman's eyes glowed with intensity as he told us how sweet his weed was," Abbot Recalls. White Abbot and Rebel Alliance will perform live April 24th at Boston's on the Beach in Delray FL visit myspace.com/whiteabbot
