My goal when writing music is to take the listener away from reality into an ethereal, majestic, melodramatic world of emotion. I want my music to act on you like a drug, taking things a step beyond your normal head-space. I try to make every song either majestic or depressing. I hit you over the head with a hammer or lull you into a bitter sleep.

The process of writing is mysterious. I sit down at my piano, my hands start to move, and somehow, if I’m lucky, I have created something unique.
