“Wayne Jury is a great singer and consummate songwriter with a solid guitar style of his own. He’s played sideman to the youthful Nathan Cavaleri, and had The Angels’ John Brewster co-write and produce his debut solo album, Walking On Glass. Jury returned to his hometown of Geelong, reinvented himself and has released this second solo album. Former Weddings Parties Anything guitarist Dave Steel is on production duties, and he brings a light, authentic touch to proceedings, allowing Jury’s velvet voice and supple playing to do the work. There are plenty of references to other musical streams from which Jury has supped – the Bo Diddley chug of Where Did All The Bad Girls Go? recalling his hard blues band of the late ‘80s, Black Cat Moan, or the classic folk-country of When I’m Gone – but they’re warmly embraced, accepted as part of the fabric. This album feels like you’re sitting down with an old friend sharing a quiet drink and some warm memories.”

Q: Wayne I have written a new song called baby you belong to me I think it would sit well in your set have a listen go to David Watson at reverb nation I'm from Newcomb cheers

A: Hi David, thanks for getting in touch. I listened to the song and you do a great job of it. I can imagine the Hoodoo Gurus doing it. You've captured that 60's blues rock sound really well , the Who and the Animals come to mind. Good stuff! WJ
