Bio

"Walri?" It's the question everyone's asking. And the answer is, "Yes."

Their influences are wide, and so is their sound. They are known as genre chameleons, jumping from late '60's inspired love-rock to roots country bluegrass to funky dunky to Brazilian Bossa Nova to shoegaze cowpunk to electronic rock candy. They call the result "love-rock."

Walri means the plural of walrus.

Last summer, Walri shared a stage with vintage art rockers Dr. Dog, and Amos even got to sing a few songs with them YEAH!!!

Walri has been building a strong and loyal fanbase at the University of Rochester, the greater Rochester area, The Eastman School of Music, NYC, SUNY Fredonia, Buffalo, and Boston.
