I was born and raised in NYC and started listening to DnB in late 1996.It was introduced to me through working at my dads club Vinyl.
The high point for me was getting a resident spot at the Global Bass parties spinning among the ranks of Andy C, Hype, Total Science and DJ SS to name a few.
