Voted Westword’s Best Modern Rock Band of 2008, Vonnegut has progressed leaps and bounds since Ryan Gombeski and Chris Weaver started the project in late 2005. Mike Trujillo came on board in the summer of 2007 and finally producer/superhero J.P. Manza jumped in to save the day in the spring of 2008. Known for energetic live shows and memorable hooks, Vonnegut released its debut E.P. “Fall into Place” to glowing reviews. In addition to celebrating a sold out CD release show, Vonnegut has started to receive radio play, and has had the opportunity to share the stage with many of the amazing bands in the Denver scene as well as national acts. After hitting the road twice in 2008, Vonnegut is currently booking dates for a tour to kick off spring 2009.
