The sordid story so far...I started Von Kleet in my hometown of Costa del Croydon when I recorded a bunch of my songs in the studio. I played all the instruments on the recordings (drums first, then guitar, bass & then vocals) - a bit like how Grohl made the first Foos Album.
The 1st demo 'Junkie' got played on XFM Unsigned by Claire Sturgess. The follow up EP was playlisted by Gary Crowley on BBC London and won the PlayMusic Magazine Best Unsigned Artist award. Then I had a pot noodle.When you come to a Kleet show you will see me singing and playing the drums at the same time (like Karen Carpenter), the pinball wizard Killian is on guitar/backing vox and Mr Frater plays bass.
