"Never what you expect" is the easiest way to explain Volary. Her sound is utterly unconventional, very powerful, and extremely entertaining. She jumps from genre to genre as easily as a CD moves from one track to the next. She uses the right instrumentation for each of her songs, even if it would be considered "weird" (who else has a bass clarinet solo featured in a pop song?). Her sound is unique. If you're sick of the same old cookie-cutter pop, try Volary. You'll be dancing in your kitchen by the end of the first song, and quite possibly crying in your cereal the next.

Kick Cancer's Ass! This is a benefit for Samantha of Volary, who is currently in treatment for stage IV breast cancer. There will be an open mic from 4-8pm (sign-ups start at 3:30pm), then featured artists from 8-11pm. Apart from music, there will also be games, a silent auction, a raffle, and free food. Come along and have some fun!
