About
The Vinyl Casuals
Formed in Autumn 1978, this band was located in Hereford and often featured at the legendary "Rotters Club" and Brockhampton Court sixth form parties. Rehearsals took place at The Greyhound Dog and usually drew some supporters (friends, girlfriends and siblings).
The band always enjoyed playing live. The first 3 tracks above, however, were recorded at a rare visit to a recording studio, The Banana Stand studios near Ross-on-Wye.
The band members were:
-
Royston Martin - Vocals
-
Alan Moores - guitar
-
Ian Harding - guitar
-
Dave Hughes - bass
- Richard "Biscuit" Evans - drums
The band split in 1980 when some of the band members left to go to University.
