“Cinco de Mayo was celebrated a night early upstairs at the Mission Latin Bar and Restaurant in the Admiral Junction with the band Villains of Yesterday and fans who watched their new video release on the TV monitor there. The track "Walls" is from "Zero in the Sun", their album to be released May 24.”

“This Thursday, Humble Pie cover band The Fixers which features the dueling guitars of PUSA's Andrew McKeag and ex-Supersucker Ron Heathman, along with Kurt Bloch on bass and Ron Giampino on drums will rock their balls off for Haiti relief at Showbox Sodo. The bill also features Dinosaurs (Jeff Fielder), Thee Sgt. Major III (Kurt Bloch/Mike Musberger), Bend, Villains of Yesterday, and Gunn and the Damage for only $15. All proceeds will be donated to the American Red Cross. This should be not only a great show, but also a sweet opportnuity to give a little in the name of relief for the people of Haiti. See you there! ”

“West Seattle filmmaker Jamie Chamberlin and others are organizing Rock4Relief with a line-up of bands, including West Seattle performers like "Bend" "Villains Of Yesterday" and "Gunn and the Damage Done." Ben Jenkins, band member of "Bend" also happens to own Shadowland Restaurant and Bar on Oregon and California just north of the Alaska Junction. The event to take place at the Sodo Showbox 1700 1st Avenue South Thursday, Jan. 28. Proceeds to go to the American Red Cross. Adam Gerhke from channel 13 morning news has come on board to MC tonight's Rock 4 Rock concert and Raffle. As well, performance artist Jimmy Gersen will be in attendance to produce a wall size painting during the course of the evening and donated to the cause.”

“Over the last couple of weeks Seattle's musicians have truly rallied around the relief efforts for the earthquake in Haiti. Not only will the Seattle Helping Haiti concert take place at the Moore Theatre tonight (Thursday January 28), but the Showbox SoDo is also staging its Rock 4 Relief fundraiser to aid the stricken nation. All proceeds from both events will be donated to the American Red Cross. Headlining the Showbox show are The Fixers: an all-star Humble Pie tribute band featuring members of Presidents of the United States of America, Supersuckers, Fastbacks, and Scott Giampino. In addition there will be performances by Dinosaurs, Thee Sgt. Major III, Bend, Villains of Yesterday, and Gunn and the Damage Done. ”
