Verismo / Press

“ Verismo has a solid EP out in Falling up the Stairs, Great musicianship by this 3 piece out of Brooklyn, Sound like they gel together very well, and I am sure they kick ass as a live band. 4 out of 5 stars”

“Good stuff...5 Stars - This reminds me alot of stuff and it's hard to name it all but here goes. High on fire, Queen, Vast, Corrosion of Conformity, 80's thrash, TOOL, Seether, Alice in Chains, Sinch, Texas style metal, Acid Bath, and on and on and on....But to say that they sound like any of those bands would also be selling them short also. These guys are very interesting to me and I love the instrumentation they use. I am really looking forward to the full length from them and hope they do well.. It's good to hear something like this for a change that is just damned fun to listen to and hits on so many levels.. Good luck to these guys and hope they hit the road through Ky. cause I'll be there! ”

“A whole lot of potential - 5 Stars - Just listening to random stuff hoping to stumble across something good and i found this band. each song has its own personality but they all have this vibe to them that fits them together perfectly.this ep is definitely worth the money. i hope this band has lots of success as im very interested to see how there sound would develop over the course of a few albums.”

“Verismo Falling Up the Stairs - Another four track EP that I came up was this one. I don't like to compare groups if I can avoid it but Verismo with a a little polishing could become the next Godsmack in my opinion. The sound between the two is very similar but Verismo comes across with slightly more metal influence. If you can find this EP get it. When the it's all said and done the tracks Unholy and A Manner Darkly were the gems on this one. Overall I give it a 3.5/5”
