Show Details: The Grouch, Mistah FAB, Fashawn n' Exile, The Prime, DJ Fresh 12/14 : The Grouch, Mistah FAB, Fashawn n' Exile, The Prime, DJ Fresh On Monday, December 14, the CCPA and U. of O. Campus Radio 88.1 FM KWVA proudly welcomes the How The Grouch Stole Christmas Tour with Mistah F.A.B., Fashawn n' Exile, The prime and DJ Fresh. Christmas is a time of tradition. Last December, The Grouch visited the WOW Hall and stole Christmas. Only nobody seemed to mind. In fact, The Grouch felt encouraged enough that he decided to make it a new tradition. So this winter, The Grouch returns with his highly anticipated annual, "How the Grouch Stole Christmas Tour ". After the overwhelming success of last year's outing, The Grouch raises the bar by going outside his usual cast of characters, and enlisting a handful of the West Coast's most promising talents. This year, the buzz worthy and undeniably dope duo of Fashawn & Exile will kick in the door with the opening duties. Fans will then be treated to a verbal assault delivered by none other than the Bay Area's own charismatic ambassador, Mistah F.A.B. The Grouch, assisted by DJ Fresh, will close the evening, making sure that every heart, mind and ear in the building has been stolen! On select dates fellow Living Legend member, Luckyiam will join him with his new group comprised of himself and Sapient (Sandpeople), who are known as The Prime. Stacked with goodies and en route to the next city, the tour vehicle may "lose" a few gifts, only to be found by following The Grouch on Twitter (@therealgrouch ). The string of robberies is slated to begin on December 2 in Salt Lake City, UT and finally come to an end in snowy South Lake Tahoe on December 19. This December The Grouch will be releasing a new project entitled, Three Eyes Off The Time. "This project is me acknowledging what is going on in the world around me, and even though I utilize all the web tools available to me, I refuse to participate at the levels of foolishness that have become the norm," The Grouch states. "In today's maniacally fast paced, and highly interconnected world filled with 140 character updates, constant availability, and staggering voyeurism it is so easy to become overwhelmed with it all. This winter, I'm urging you to join me as I unplug and reconnect with the physical and spiritual world." The Grouch emerged from the Bay Area's intelligent hip-hop scene as a member of the Living Legends crew. As MC extraordinaire he has built a reputation for being at the forefront of independent music. In addition to the Legends and his solo albums, The Grouch has released collaborations with Zion I and Eligh, most recently Say G&E. The Grouch and Eligh performed at the WOW Hall in May as part of the "Say G&E Tour". Stanley P. Cox, better known by his stage name Mistah F.A.B., is an American rapper from North Oakland, California. Mistah F.A.B. is an acronym for "Money Is Something to Always Have - FaEva Afta Bread." Mistah F.A.B. dropped his debut album, Nig-Latin in 2003, but the majority of his recognition were earned as a battle rapper. He is known for freestyling, or rapping "off the top of the dome" on a whim, that is he is able to do it anywhere at anytime. He even did a freestyle from his hospital bed after a car accident. In 2004, Mistah F.A.B. signed to Mac Dre's Thizz Entertainment. Under Thizz ENT, F.A.B. blossomed as a front runner in the Bay Area's Hyphy movement. With songs like "Super Sic Wit It", "N.E.W. Oakland" and "Kicked Out The Club", F.A.B.'s Son of a Pimp album was an instant success around the Bay Area. F.A.B.'s first single release was the hit "Ghost Ride It", in 2006. This year Mistah F.A.B. released his fourth full length studio album, Da Yellow Bus Rydah, and a mixtape, The Grind Is A Terrible Thing To Waste (hosted By DJ Scream). Fashawn, who made his WOW Hall debut in October (with Ghostface Killah), returns with Exile. Recognized as a leader in Central California's hip hop scene with his innovative style and originality in his music, Fashawn is more than ready to take on the world with his debut album Boy Meets World. Produced entirely by Exile, "Boy Meets World is just a story about a kid growing up," explains Fashawn. "It's my story, it's very honest, it's very in depth. So whatever you thought you knew about me, listen to this and you'll really get a good look at who I am. It's going to be classic." Tickets are $15 in advance, $18 at the door. Doors open at 8:00 pm and showtime is 9:00. SHOWTIME: 9:00 PM, PRICE: $15 Advance, $ 18 Door. BUY TICKETS NOW http://www.therealgrouch.com http://www.myspace.com/mistahfab
