Bio: "The Raven is Worcester's undisputed rookie live rock club that might muster up its inner greatness to someday become the city's premiere rock club."-C.Semon The Telegram & Gazette The Raven has one of the best acoustics and sound system in town,an experienced engineer, great sized stage, perfect sight lines with no obstructed views from wherever you are in the club. It is very clean, spacious, with lots of seating complete with a dance floor. We also have a great green room for the artists to kick back and enjoy themselves. The Raven is artist friendly,we work together with local bands by helping them with every aspect of their careers from booking bills that make sense in helping build their fan base, performances, help with music production, and getting their record manufactured. You can toss out all genre bias we host an eclectic variety of music from Roots to Rock to Metal and everything in between. Our clientelle consists of diverse live music lovers from all walks of life. Patrons can expect to have their mind blown by a jaw dropping sonic experience, good time, great music, inexpensive alcohol, and great service all in a place where you can expect to see artists you've yet to hear of in a club you are yet familiar with while feeling like being in the comfort of your own living room. The Raven is an awesome sounding room that's comfortable with a great atmosphere, vibe, and unique character complete with rock and roll memorabilia. The Raven sits alongside Congress Alley (the controversial creative community that spawned artists like Orpheus,Clean Living,The J. Geils Band and Worcester's first all girl rock band "The Broad Explosion feat. Marcia Chevian-Hooper) which back in the sixties was sort of a communal back yard for young local artists. It achieved notoriety because of The folk based band Orpheus, whose "Can't Find The Time to Tell You" is the only national hit song to come out of Worcester. We hope to continue the effort into helping artists continue to achieve notoriety. We are currently looking for photographers, filmmakers, editors,DJ's,Event Coordinators, booking agents, promoters, artist relations, interns, and bartenders.
