5488 Chamblee Dunwoody Road, Atlanta, GA, US
Bio: Since it's metamorphosis in 1996 from Croakies Bar and Grill, The Dunwoody Tavern has never looked back. It is one of the oldest restaurants in Dunwoody and one of the oldest Pubs in Atlanta but is certainly the oldest Pub in Dunwoody! We are a destination for everyone from Buckhead to Alpharetta and have become the meeting place for the younger set who live in both neighbourhoods and want to get together. We also have a wide mix of ages who come from the surrounding neighbourhoods to dine and socialize. When you walk into the Pub you see a massive double sided fire place in the middle and a cozy restaurant, The Duke of Wellington, on the right side. It's a great place to have dinner, a few appetizers in a private booth or cozy up in front of the fire with a pint and a friend. You can also arrange for a party of up to 60 of your closest friends and take over The Duke for free!! We serve 16 different British and European beers with attention to popular local Craft Beers. Our wine choices are terrific as is our selection of Scotches. Our menu features many Traditional British dishes interwoven with classic American and 14 different appetizers. Our Chef produces some amazing Medieval dishes as specials and goes all out on St Patrick's Day. Be sure to come early on St Paddy's as we fill up with Dunwoodyites quickly. Live music is a must at weekends which we serve up raucusly all year but we take it on a sofa scattered, covered patio as soon as the weather cooperates! There are also tellies to watch your favourite games out there. Back inside we have 10 big screen tellies showing different games and events, if you can't see your choice don't hesitate to ask! Challenge your Mate to a game of Pool, throw some Feathers (Darts) or play a round at St Andrew's on one of our big screen Golden Tees. If he looses he owes you a pint! Join in with the locals as they love to meet new people and bring in lively discussion. Cheers and Bottoms Up!
