Can you believe 2009 is already coming to an end? We can't believe it either. But looking back we gotta give it up to those who have continued to support Kapakahi music and to all the new fans we met this year.
From releasing our new album entitled, "LIGHT UP" followed by our 2nd music video, to playing shows with OZOMATLI, BLONDIE, & our favorite KATCHAFIRE (International Reggae Artists from New Zealand) all of us here from KAPAKAHI had a great year. We even got to raise money for KOKO the Gorilla, to helping raise money for the typhoon victims in the Philippines, to supporting the Save the Waves Coalition to protect our ever so important beaches around the world. What a year...!
What could make this year even better? You and your friends making it out to our last show of the year. We've been working hard on some new tunes and quite frankly you're gonna love the different side of KAPAKAHI with a dirtier edgy sound. So be sure to spread the word and join us one last time to celebrate the year ending by skankin' the night away.
