Engaging culture, uniting community
Ransom Events aims to build a bridge between church and culture through expression of art and social justice awareness.
Joey Cristina began an unofficial entity back in '07 with no money, a love of music & art, a longing for unity in his community and a passion for educating people about real issues, ones that we can all agree on.
In September '08, Ransom went underneath the leadership of Awaken Community Church as a sub-ministry. This has helped in countless ways including much needed equipment and volunteer support.
Ransom has raised $483.25 for causes since its conception.
