Bio: The Purple Fiddle Cafe, Brews and Stage is a family-friendly and non-smoking music venue. We are located in the old DePollo General Store in Thomas, WV (population 400), in the beautiful Allegheny mountains. Every week, and always on Friday and Saturday nights, the Purple Fiddle presents professional, touring acts. Our music lineup is diverse. We mostly play host to old-time and traditional acoustic dance bands, plus bluegrass, and alt-country, but also spread our wings with some rock, jazz, reggae, old-country, blues, Celtic, folk, Klezmer and Latin. Anything really that is good, original, entertaining and danceable. Bands whose music hurts little ears, or bands without two hours of original material need not apply.
