Bio: The 2nd Annual Panhandle Earth Day Celebration will be held Saturday, April 24th, 2010, at Morgan's Grove Park, on the corner of Kearneysville Pike (Route 480) and Morgan Grove Road, just outside of Shepherdstown, West Virginia, from 12-noon till 9pm. There will be Music, Art, Crafts, Food, Kid's Activities, Demonstrations, Environmental & Conservation groups, Activists, Vendors, a Farmers Market and more! This is a family-friendly, community oriented event. It is free and open to the public (all ages), so bring the family and come on out! Music this year will include Paul Pfau & Friends, Gypsy Dawg, Herb and Hanson, Treehouse, The Shemacians, Todd Coyle Band, Luke Johnson Band, Bob Keel, Andrew Luttrell, Buck Flowens, Matt Creamer and more (for a full list, please visit our Bands webpage). Environmental and conservation groups will include the Appalachian Trail Conservancy, Shepherdstown Roots & Shoots and more. Vendors will include Boomtown Hoops, Go Green Gals, Potomac River Goods, River & Trail Outfitters, Sewn Together and more (for a full list, please visit our Vendors webpage). This is a leave no trace event. Feel free to bring a picnic lunch, lawn chairs, blankets, recreational equipment, and comforts for an afternoon in the park. Please leave your dogs at home. This is a rain or shine event. The Panhandle Earth Day Celebration is brought to you by Earth Vibe Productions and Events. While it is free, it is not cheap and does cost money to put together.
