Bio: The Swingin' Door in San Mateo has been more the generous to give us what is known as Metal at the Door. It is now hosting a regular weekly night with metal music being played with DJ's the first three weeks of the month, and live metal bands the last Thursday of every month. Also, drink specials courtesy of Ken. Welcome to Thrashin' Thursdays! The Swingin' Door caters to their guests with 18 beers on tap, 2 full bars upstairs and downstairs as well as a small bar on the downstairs patio, drinking and smoking on the outside patio, full kitchen open till 10:00PM, 6 big TV's and two projectors to take in sporting events, tournament dart boards, nights of karaoke downstairs, plenty of free parking and a more then friendly and hospitable staff, bartenders and owner.
