Bio: Named “Best Small Venue in North America” by the International Folk Alliance, Caffè Lena is the oldest continuously operating folk club in the United States. Opened in 1960, the café has helped to launch many of America's best-loved songwriters, including Bob Dylan, Arlo Guthrie, and Ani DiFranco. It continues to be a place where neighbors gather, young adults share poetry, theater thrives, and world class musicians play so close you can see every movement of fingers on frets and feel a foot tapping rhythm on the stage. Caffè Lena is alcohol-free and welcomes visitors of all ages.
