The Vegas Valentinos / Press

“Country-Time Tonk-ade "The Vegas Valentinos," Good Ole Boy Country Fun, out of Whitman January 14, 2013 Man, I need to get a cowboy hat. The Vegas Valentinos are all about the good times, and they've got a great sense of humor. Honky tonk and modern country is alive and well on the South Shore. This band, out of Whitman, plays all your favorite modern country music, plus a serious lineup of original songs. Hot chicks, booze, partying, heartbreak, Bigfoot and everything else that makes you want to run up into the mountains with a bunch of friends and let loose: these guys are all about it. They've performed at the Massachusetts Country Music Awards and all over the South Shore. Scotty 2Times, Johnny Inferno, Blind Bob, Joey da Wrench and George ElDorito -- the guys that make up the band -- are currently working on a new album. Give them a listen on Reverb Nation. BIGFOOT is the new hotness: ”

“Scotty (wearing scarlet satin pants and a black top hat) assured me before the first set that Uncle Bruno really is their uncle, and manager, and most of what the press packet proclaims is true. Not only that, in honor of the band, Chicken Bone, which is known for its barbecue, added a special all-you-can-eat spaghetti, sausage and meatball dinner that night.”

“the highly individualistic Vegas Valentinos version gives it a new lease on life. One wonders what Sam Phillips would have thought of this version, but taking his personal credo into account ("Be different!"), we feel fairly confident that he would have approved. It stands on it's own as much as the versions by Arthur "Big Boy" Crudup and Elvis do... and it Rocks. Just try and sit still while listening to this!”
