Bio
Jennifer Van Meter's Papaw constantly had the traditional country music blaring. She cut her teeth on songs by Jeannie C. Riley, Ernest Tubb, and George Jones. Freshman year of college at East Tennessee State University as a student of the Bluegrass, Country, and Old-time Music Program, Jennifer was educated by some of the best bluegrass pickers in the world, and worked at a local record store that introduced her to the likes of Dishwalla and Kasey Chambers who have become two of her greatest influences. Jennifer has finished recording her debut album, Should've Been a Weather Girl, at Mill Creek Studio in Annapolis, Maryland with producer Noel White behind the project. Look for it within a matter of weeks.
