UNDERBELLY was formed in Adelaide in early 2000 by Mars (vocals and guitar), Justin (lead guitar) The band has had some changes since 2000 with the original bass player pursuing his love for metal now playing bass for Double Dragon also Mark the original drummer leaving which then led to Brett's arrival on drums soon followed by Matt who played bass with the band for the year but now has other obligations. UNDERBELLY is about original Alternative Rock, based on dynamics and power. Making use of complex structures in both vocal and instrumental variations UNDERBELLY has developed their own original sound, with an underlying familiarity that all can enjoy. Having played many live shows around Adelaide over the years, including the Governor Hindmarsh, Heritage, Jade Monkey and the Land of Promise, UNDERBELLY has received favourable attention from consuming listeners and other musicians. UNDERBELLY is currently jamming down the local rehearsal rooms working on some new songs.
