Umar Abdullah aka “L” Debois, was born and raised outside of Philadelphia. He began singing around age 3. In his teenage years he became a multi instrumentalist playing just about anything he could pick up. In Los Angeles, Cali, he signed with “Island DefJam Records" but later parted due to differences. He later signed to “Val’s Artist Management” for commercial jingles landing spots for Slimfast, Coke, Cricket, and Dell to name a few.
