UDK represented a whole way to create metal in Chile during 12 years, always focusing in a search for powerfull and blasting riffs that would make all audiences loose their head on every single show the band did along it’s life. 

Conceived in Concepción, south of Chile, the core of the band moved to Santiago in 1997 to dedicate 100% to build the malefice. 2 demos and 2 albums were enough to show the world that UDK wasn’t here to step back or hesitate in achieving the goal they proposed themselves back in the day. 

Loyal to their compromise of being real, the band is proud to make notice that everytime they succeeded, was just because they left their music be their guide and the only and main reason why the band gained so much respect in the metal scene, being considered as one of big chilean metal bands, leaving behind all false-fake-plastic-fucking-hollow friendships just to get one step higher. 

Fully aware that UDK deserved much more attention from serious labels and/or producers, members know that their separation leaves an emptiness hard to fill, because this band was unique; people never could really find what kind of metal the band was playing, but that was because the band neither, they just gathered to do METAL with no surnames. Death? Thrash? Speed? Aggro? Hardcore? It’s your turn to judge! 

Grateful of all the friends the band did all along it’s life, we stop now as a band, but we'll live eternally through our music available in every band’s internet site.
