 TUNER'S GROOVES

Im just a girl with a keyboard and a desire to play.

WELCOME to the Inner Ramblings of my Cranial Space.

 THANKS  FOR  LISTENING!

 Hi. I'm TUNER!

(Before you read this bio

you might as well click on one of my tunes

so you have some background music to listen to while reading.)

:)

Being born and raised in North Dakota has left countless oppourtunities for imagination to chase away the constant boredom and everyday droning routine of work, eat, sleep, work, eat, sleep. Besides spending my time drawing, TUNERs GROOVES is what happened when technology found me. Thanks to a strong interest in music and computers, I have had the ability to record some of my late-night ramblings of my melodic emotional releases.  (OK, so I usually space off on a good groove and run with it. )

I've been playing piano since I cant remember (yeah, I'm getting old). Started playing guitar in 6th grade but quit because it hurt my fingers. Started playing guitar again around age 17. I've had a few lessons on guitar, but I'd say I am mostly a self taught musician. I play by ear, as trying to follow sheet music doesnt jive with me. I wish I could read it faster, but I read it to slow and my fingers are much faster than that.

I've done lots of graphic design work for local bands over the years, including cd photography, posters and some marketing. Im not into the music scene like I used to be anymore, so I still sit and write music in the wee hours of the night, recording all I can and attempting to remember it all. There are some new works on the way coming soon, if I can get past the technical difficulties of having too many sound cards and too many sound settings and components that never seem to want to work together for the greater good. Luckily I just laugh it off and add the sounds of frustrated insanity to my music.

Thanks for your time reading this. Well, at least reading this last line, then. Hope you like my tunes. :)
