TSI was founded in 2004 by Geoff Lenox and in the past has consisted of an otherwise revolving band lineup. In 2006 Lenox met "Dirty Migz" who has become the only other permanent bandmate and songwriting partner to date. TSI's goal is to make loud, catchy, and danceable music that strikes out at the things they find offensive in themselves and the world around them. While primarily a punk band, they are also influenced by many varieties of rock n' roll and metal.
