About
A great leader and powerful public speaker of our time was noted for using 'Thunderclap rhythm with a distinctive voice blending ecstasy and despair'. That would also be a perfect description of Truth Is... Her Passion is only surpassed by her desire to explore and express the truth itself, and this becomes obvious when her poetry is spoken.
As a repeated member of the Canadian Festival of Spoken Word Toronto Poetry Slam Team, a Toronto International Poetry Slam finalist and a two time TPS & ESC slam Champion she is no stranger to gruelling and intense competition.
Truth Is...,has been Performing spoken word steadily for the last three years but has only been slamming for sixteen months leaving a wake of inspired people in her path. Her poetry has been aired on FLOW 93.5's OTA LIVE as well as CBC Radio One 99.1's Big City, Small World. This is in addition to being a two-time recipient of Sugar Candy's Best Spoken Word Performance award. She has featured in several of toronto's reading series including: Strong Words, Cryptic Chatter, Word Jam, Dementia 5, Underground Sounds and has also participates in her community by working with youth Shelters, schools & the Children Peace Theatre,
