"High energy, original and relentless in thier craft, TripWire are a band on the up. Great musicians, ones to watch"
Jon Stow - Chepstow Radio (2013)
“TripWire Live at Magnums-
Tripwire played a great set which consisted of old covers which originate years before they were born including songs Doctor Doctor (UFO), Paranoid (Black Sabbath) and Wishing Well (Free) which gives you an idea of their influences and amongst these they slotted in nicely some original material, Drifter (written by Ricky Delaney and Caleb Remnant) and What Lurks In The Darkness (written by Ricky Delaney). Both the songs having nice riffs and catchy meaningful lyrics enhanced by Ricky’s slightly punkish rock vocals, showing you a glimpse of of what the future holds for the guys song writing.
The low slung guitars and stances on stage show that they mean business and are pure rock! These guys are learning their art and really enjoy what they are doing, dare I say they remind me of when I first saw Toadstool, you can see a band and know from that moment they are going to work hard and do what it takes to become great musicians and performers.
Tony 'Mange' Eade - Toadstool Manager (2012)
““All too rarely this early in a bands career, can you honestly say 'they are gonna be a great band!!" ...But I believe you can with Tripwire....Incredibly adept..... and with so much enthusiasm it's far too easy to forget how young they actually are...These boys have eaten copiously at the altar of classic rock ,digested the full menu available from Sabbath through to Metallica...they then asked for 'more!'..... and when it wasn't delivered?......they returned to the feasting hall with a sumptuous offering of their very own recipe....”
Bob Smith - Respected Singer/Songwriter (2013)
"it was a pleasure to have you, it was a good set great choice of tunes... you guys are a good little band, with more live shows you should improve into a really good old fashioned Rock outfit..... what we are sorely missing!!"
