About

The ensemble Triologue was established in London at the Royal Academy of Music in 2006. In May 2007 Triologue were awarded the prestigious Nancy Nuttall Early Music Prize and they performed at the Brighton Early Music Festival 2007 Live Scheme.

The group members come from three different countries; Sweden (Karin Björk, violin), Hungary (Kinga Gáborjáni, gamba/cello) and Poland (Paweł Siwczak, harpsichord and organ). They recently completed their postgraduate studies at the Royal Academy of Music. They have enjoyed working together and aim to further their experience in ensemble playing.

Triologue's repertoire comprises mainly chamber music from the 17th and early 18th century and includes works by composers such as Dietrich Buxtehude, Marin Marais, William Lawes and Johann Sebastian Bach. The group is open to collaboration with other instrumentalists and singers in order to widen their repertoire and explore new means of expression.

The group has benefited from coaching with historical performance specialists such as Richard Campbell, Laurence Cummings, Liz Kenny, Nicolette Moonen and Jennifer Ward Clarke.
