Treeland was founded in 2006 by singer and songwriter Gottfried Dorael, who lives in the forests of the German Odenwald region with a beautiful countryside and amazing rocks like the famous "Felsenmeer" in Reichenbach ( Lautertal ) south of Frankfurt Main nearby Heidelberg.
